More about me…

‘One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.’

I started this blog more for a dose of writing therapy and sharing a few opinions as well as some treasured pieces of my life. I guess this was destined to be a pregnancy/parenting blog, seeing that this is closest to heart at the moment. However, I do want to focus on the bigger picture and take people along a journey that will hopefully, in some way, will coincide with the journeys of others as well.

So far, it has been an interesting life for myself. I grew up in Malaysia, moved to Australia to study and am now happily married to the best husband in the world, with whom I’m expecting our first child.

I’m a Seventh-Day Adventist, a mum to a crazy dog named Skittles and I’m aiming to be a perpetual (or at least, an intermittent) student as I love structured study and exams.

Among the interesting things I’ve done in life are winning an essay-writing competition that took my family on a trip to Dublin, passing my driving test after only 8 hours on the road, working in the secluded sunny Port Douglas QLD, buying a bright orange car (with cash in hand), shooting an M16 at National Service and some other stuff that I will not mention (as not all of it may have been legal, hehe). I feel my greatest achievement of all is coming to know God and for letting Him bring such joy and blessings into my life.

So, welcome to my life. Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do!
